FAQs (frequently asked questions)
I’m just an „ordinary“-runner. Can I keep up with Munich SightRunning?
Of course, SightRunning is for everyone: from the ambitious to the slower runners. After all, SightRunning is not about setting track records, but to get to know the city. Even walking intervals are not a problem, in this case I just tell you more about the location. We’ll adapt the running pace to your individual ability.
A sightseeing tour whilst running – is that possible at all?
It’s not a problem at all: Where there is more to tell, we’ll just reduce the pace and run an “extra lap” around a certain place. If there is a detail to look at, then we just simply stop for a moment. It’s as simple as that!
How well does the SightRunning-Guide know Munich?
I have to admit that unlike my children I’m not a real “Münchener Kindl“. But I live in the Isar metropolis for about 10 years now and have an in depth knowledge of the town’s history and development as well as local politics. Besides, I’ll make use of 15 years of experience working as an editor to address people properly and so to respond to their individual needs and wishes.
When can I run with Munich SightRunning?
„Running time“ is between 6 o’clock in the morning and 9 o’clock in the evening. Outside these hours we are happy to run with you upon agreement.
Is SightRunning only available in German?
German may be my mother tongue, but English tours are not a problem at all.
